We at Y Water are always researching organizations that are doing important work for kids both nutritionally and otherwise. Today, we were struck by this piece of information from the Huffington Post that we wanted to share with you. We often hear about U.S. teachers being paid poorly for all the work they do to educate children. Yep, it's that time again, Flu Season. And never has Flu Season gotten as much publicity as this one, with all the talk of Swine Flu, the Swine Flu Vaccine, and well, all of the above. Just thought you'd like to see the new NYC LAB SCHOOL FLAG FOOTBALL TEAM picture. Well, it's impossible to get everyone to sit perfectly straight for these things. But after winning a couple of games, it's hard to sit still in general. The Y Water Team wants to let you know that all is well in New York City. No, that is not a typo, but let me clarify. Just got back from our Y Water event at Bloomingdales in Soho, NYC in association with Bowery Babes, the coolest downtown mom's playgroup. Bowery Babes host great events, where Bowery Moms bring their kids in an effort to socialize the children. Today's event was a win-win for the moms because it was a beauty event at Bloomingdales and the Bowery Moms received beauty treatments, make-overs, discounts on products and Y Water for the kids...duh. The other night, Y Water acted all grown up at a design industry event presented by Surface Magazine. The exhibition was held at Material Connextion, the coolest design library in the world. Bits 'N' Pieces is an interactive, traveling exhibition that explores the rapidly advancing technologies and new materials transforming design in the post-digital age.
