To kick-off the 40th anniversary of Hale House, Y Water created a health and wellness event at the Mother Hale Learning Center. "We wanted to feature healthy choices like Karma Kids yoga, early education recycling and an introduction to good nutrition with Y Water and Babycakes," says Thomas Arndt, Y Water founder. "The enthusiasm from the kids was great," said Joyce Lopez, Director, Hale House.

Y Water was a big hit at Bonnie Young's beach-inspired children,s fashion show at the Maidstone Arms. The models and audience members worked together creating dogs, molecules and other stylish shapes with the Y connectible bottles. Christie Brinkley joked, "Y Water bottles are perfect for balancing on your head." Also on hand were Donna Karan and Alexa Ray Joel.

New Yorkers of all ages and Mayor Bloomberg joined Y Water on Pier 46 for the Sunset Psychedelic to benefit Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. The beanbags, lava lamps and groovy Y Water Activity Center were out of site. Uch-did I say that? Not even the overcast sky could keep the Y Water fanatics away.

Actress, children's author and Y Water fan Julianne Moore treated young listeners to a reading of her book Freckleface Strawberry at Bloomingdale's on Third Avenue.Kids sipped Y Water while listening to Julianne told the tale of the Dodge Ball Bully.

Speaking of expecting mothers, Citibabes Soho, Cookie magazine and Y Water hosted Pre-Natal Peek-a-Boo, an informative event for new moms-to-be. Ricki Lake shared stories about her own experience and discussed her book Your Best Birth with the audience. Y Water looks forward to be on hand for the grand opening of Citibabes Scarsdale in September.

Celebrating the ribbon cutting of Asphalt Green's new athletic center on the Upper East Side, Y Water hydrated 5K runners and sports enthusiasts alike. Y Water fans joined in the festivities, as attended by Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, Councilmember Jessica Lappin, and NYC Parks Commissioner Adrian Benepe.
